Kyrgyzstan - candidates ruled out by courts

As independant media comes under increasing pressure in the run up to Parliamentary elections in Kyrgyztan the courts have withdrawn some opposition candidates from the election. Are the charges trumped up to get the awkward politicians out of the way until after the elections ?.
