China - generation X

A reformist political figure, Zhao Ziyang, died this week but today's generation of students - unlike those with whom Zhao pleaded in Tiananmen Square - don't seem to care. Is this a sign of maturity or apathy ?. Opinion is divided but 15 plus years of economic growth have given rise to a less overtly radical student body.
